It was a lot of fun playing kid games again, and I am excited to see him developing the ability to understand the rules. Although I had to give him gentle reminders from time to time, he got the point and really did beat me fair and square.
We took him to hockey around 5pm, and that was interesting. He enjoys going, but after a certain period of time learning stuff he just quits. He doesn't listen, doesn't try to do what he is being told, and basically just sits there on the ice. It can be a little frustrating, but I know that he is still young and that hopefully the attention span will increase as he gets a little bigger.
After hockey we went to run some errands and stopped at Denny's for dinner. Brienna got her dinner then too. A couple weeks ago, I started her on rice cereal after the doc told me it would be okay. She did really well opening her mouth for the spoon and even whines if you don't spoon it in fast enough. She loves to stick her fingers in her mouth right after a spoonful, and then of course makes a giant mess of it...

I can't believe how big she is getting already. Almost 3.5 months old, and starting to really coo and babble. I keep trying to get some video, but it never fails as soon as I turn it on she goes silent. She rolled from her stomach to her back for the first time on Tuesday, and she has been trying really hard to go from her back to her stomach, but doesn't get that she has to do something with her legs!
ha ha I was just at Target and saw Cootie! lol!
